Connecting with God and others through Jesus
  Home Videos Community Opportunity Beliefs

We want to be a church that is small on structure, but big on community. Here are some ways to connect with God and others in a deeper way.

Community Meal

Once each month we invite everyone to share in a community meal together. No big agenda…just a chance to connect. You're probably thinking, "Oh, great - another pot-luck dinner!" Well, not exactly. Each month we'll set a menu and ask people to bring a portion of the meal we will share together.

We value hospitality. It's one thing to sit in church and worship together, but quite another to share a meal. It forces us to slow down, become engaged with others, share what we have with one another, and to connect in our community beyond a 'hello' or handshake.

Lead Pastor Eric Leverance in conversation.

Community Groups

There are a few different growth and connection opportunities at Portico. These community groups are a place to go deeper into the bible, share struggles in life, and pray for one another. There are a few different "shapes and sizes" that may fit, depending on what fits your situation. From groups that are mixed ages and lifestyles to groups for "twenty-something" young men and women. They meet on various weeks and times. Please call for more information.
